I came across the work of photographer, Saul Leiter, recently. He lived a simple, unglamorous life for many decades. He only caught the attention of the fine art world in the last decade of his life. He often used reflections and visual layering techniques to make his compositions obsucrred, abstract and intruiging. I'm particularly drawn to his NYC street photography from the 1940s and 50s. THIS is a small detail from an untitled, posthumously-published photo found in a book titled The Unseen Saul Leiter.
